About me
My name is Myrthe, and I am a dedicated veterinarian with nearly 10 years of clinical experience caring for pets. With a deep passion for animals and a patient, personal approach, I provide professional veterinary care in the comfort of your home. Through my calm approach animals often feel more at ease, allowing veterinary procedures to be carried out in a gentle and respectful manner. The well-being of your pet is always my priority, and I strive to minimize stress as much as possible. I believe in a personal approach, where care, trust, and attention are at the heart of everything I do.
Animals have always played a significant role in my life. From a young age, I was fascinated by the bond between humans and animals. Growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses, I knew early on that I wanted to become a veterinarian. That love for animals has never faded - in fact, it has become the foundation of my work.
Outside of my work as a veterinarian, I am a nature enthusiast who enjoys long walks. Also strolling through Vondelpark or along the Amsterdam canals helps me unwind after a busy workday. I also love sports, traveling, and sharing good meals with friends.
