I understand how difficult this moment can be and offer compassionate and carefully performed euthanasia at home, allowing for a dignified farewell in a peaceful and familiar environment. With care and respect, I guide you through this difficult decision, always prioritizing your pet’s well-being while minimizing stress for both the animal and the owner.

My name is Myrthe Haanstra, and I graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Ghent in 2016. Since then, I have gained extensive experience working in various veterinary practices across the Netherlands, where I have dedicated myself with passion and commitment to the health and well-being of pets.
After years of working in different clinics, I noticed how stressful a visit to the vet can be for many animals - from anxious cats to dogs feeling uncomfortable in an unfamiliar environment. This realization, combined with my love for personal and accessible care, led me to become a home-visit veterinarian.
